Complex compliance should feel seamless.

To the teams building better financial services,

We started Lissom because the systems behind business compliance had become far more complicated than the experience needed to be.

Good businesses were still being asked for information that already existed. Compliance teams were stitching together forms, data providers, documents and follow-up across too many tools. Every exception created another email, another hand-off and another reason for a customer to drop out.

We believed there was a better way: one adaptive process that gets the right information, from the right source, at the right moment, and delivers a complete case ready to decide.

Why now

Company data is richer and more accessible. AI can interpret documents, explain complex questions and reason across fragmented evidence. Teams can finally configure journeys around policy and risk without forcing every customer through the same static form.

That changes the opportunity. This is not simply about automating individual tasks. It is about redesigning the interaction between a business and the institution assessing it, so speed, clarity and control reinforce one another.

Built alongside the people doing the work

From the beginning, we have partnered with exceptional data and infrastructure providers and designed Lissom alongside ambitious financial firms including Seapoint, Paysend, Round Treasury and Loop Financial.

Those teams have shaped how Lissom collects information, coordinates contributors, surfaces risk and records the full case. Building with them has kept us focused on what matters in production: fewer unnecessary requests, clearer decisions and an audit trail teams can trust.

Compliance can be rigorous without feeling difficult. The best systems make complexity disappear for the customer while giving the institution more control.

What we believe

Good customers should not be buried in unnecessary friction. Compliance teams should spend less time chasing and more time deciding. And financial institutions should not have to choose between a better customer experience and a defensible process.

Our job is to make the hard parts work together: policy, data, evidence, people and judgement. When they do, complex compliance becomes easier to complete, review and defend.
